SOME STATISTICAL STUDY OF FJΦRTOFT’S GRAPHICAL METHOD

The aim of this paper is to make clear the accuracy of the approximate integration formula ΔH=-(Δξ+2Δξ ) and the steadiness of the space mean velocity field (or space mean height field, i.e.H-field). By analysing the change in actual field, the errors introduced by them are discussed.
