NORTHERN HEMISPHERE OROGRAPHY EXPRESSED BY SPHERICAL FUNCTIONS

With the data of orographic height above mean sea-level given by Bekofsky, an orographic chart for the Northern Hemisphere expressed by spherical functions is ared. It is found that the chart computed is fairhy in accord with the one prepared by Bekofsky except in the region near the north pole.
