THE SPECTRA OF LARGE SCALE ATMOSPHERIC FLOW AT 100 MB

The spectra of meridional and tonal kinetic energy at 100 mb are computed. The day-to-day variations of ultra-long waves are also studied and discussed. The changes of circulation pattern at 100 mb are mainly, due to the variation of waves with wave number lower than three.
