A FOUR-LEVEL BAROCLINIC MODEL FOR THE STEADY PERTURBATIONS IN THE WESTERIES

  • The steady perturbations in the westeries are analysed by means of a four-levels barodinic model. It is shown that the intensity of the steady perturbations with wave number 1-2 caused by topography increases upward in the stratasphere during winter, and decreases upward in summer.
