SEASONAL FORECAST OF SPRING RAINFALL AT SHANGHAI

  • Spring rainfall at Shanghai is classified according to the number of total rain days and the characteristic distribution of the rain days. The category of spring rain is found to be well related to the number of days with Ural blocking high in the preceding winder (Dec.-Fieb.).Finally, a forecast vsas made with good results for the category of spring rainfall in 1979.
