ON THE MICROCLIMATOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ICING ON WIRES

Based on the data of a special icing observatory, the following results are found:The icing intensity varies with height; the icing intensity depends upon the angle between the wind direction and the wire; the icing intensity varies with the diameter of the wire.
