AN NUMERICAL MODEL OF THE COLD STRATIFIED CLOUDS

An one-dimensional time dependent numerical model has been dcvcloped to study the mechanism of natural and artificial precipitation from the cold layer clouds. The effects of various parameters for macro-and micro-scale, sublimation, riming and multiplication on cloud physics elements and precipitation are examfined and the effects of seeding are simulated.
