FAST PROCESSES IN ATMOSPHERIC MOTIONS

Using temporal boundary layer method,the fast processes in the atmospheric motions are discussed.It is found that for L>L0 large scale motions,the static adjustment process is the fastest,the horizontal nondivergence adjustment is the slowest.For L~L0,the static adjustment process is still the fasfest,and geostrophic adjustment and nondivergence adjustment processes are not distinguishable.For L0,and meso-scale motions are also discussed.
