SOME ASPECTS ON THE THEORY OF CISK

  • No wind velocity variation with height in the lower layer of the atmosphere is the assumption used by Charney and Eliassen in the study of CISK theory.It is analysed and improved in this paper.The influences of wind variation in lower layer with height on the problems of the stability and catastrophe are discussed.
