THE INDIAN SUMMER MONSOON AND THE RAINFALL IN NORTH CHINA IN SUMMER

  • In this paper, analyses of the Indian summer monsoon rainfall and the North China summer rainfall during the period 1891 to 1983 have been made. The results indicate that the statistics climatic characteristics of the Indian summer monsoon rainfall are similar to the summer rainfall in North China, and the steady significant correlation exists between both of them. The process associated with the Indian mionsoon and the rainfall in North China in summer has been discussed. It is indicated that the variations both of North China rainfall and Indian monsoon have same predictors in April.
