SIMULATION OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF CLIMATIC ELEMENTS IN MOUNTAINOUS AREAS

Abstract
In this paper, an effective method of simulating the distributions of climatic elerrients in mountainous areas by using semiempirical theory is presented. As an example, the distributions of temperature, vapour pressure, relative humidity, wind velocity and precipitation in Jianyang region and the Shaxi basin of Fujian province are computed with this method, and are quite in good agreement with the observed results.
