AN ANALYSIS OF THE ULTRA-LONGWAVE OF ENERGY FOR THE TROPICS AND SUBTROPICS IN THE NH DURING 1982-1983 EL NINO YEAR

In this paper, the wave nu m ber spectra of energy have been analysed for the ultra-longwave in the tropics and subtropics of the Northern Hemisphere in the July, 1982 and 1983 by using ECMWF/WMO data. This study deals with subjects concerning the ultra-longwave energy characteristics and large-scale circulation relative to the energy varies during the summer in the El Nino year (1982-1983).
