ON THE SYMMETRIC DEVELOPMENT OF MESOSCALE DISTURBANCES

The effects of baroclinic basic flow on a paralleled mesoscale disturbance development are researched.Using WKB method,the two dimensional purturbation equations with the non-momentum-divergence approximation are analyzed.The resuh indicates that the symmetric development of a mesoscale disturbance is due to the non-homogeneous thermal deviations and unstationality of the basic field.
