A TEST OF COMPARED TWO NORMAL MODE INITIALIZATION SCHEMES

The test shows that in a shallow water model the nonlinear normal mode initialization (NMI) is better than dynamic normal mode initialization (DNI).But DNI is better than NMI in multi-level model.In the assimilation system DNI is better than NMI for analysis fitting.
