  • Using the data of the precipitation for 30 stations over the Sichuan Basin from 1951 to 1985,the optimum interpolation standard errors during July and August are calculated. It is found th at the optimum interpolation can increase greatly the accuracy of interpolation and provide more concrete scheme for atetwork design compared with the linear interpolation.
