Abstract
Applying the simultaneous physical algorithm for retrieving temperature and moisture sounding, the atmospheric parameters are calculated over the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. Comparisons are made of the atmospheric parameter retrievals with colocated RAOB data. The comparison results show that the temperatures can be retrieved with an accuracy of m can bias 2.50℃, RMS difference 30℃ and water vapors with an accuracy of mcan bias 20%,RMS difference 28%.Also, this paper reveals the influence of cirrus cloud on the temperature retrievals using the semi-transparent discrimination quantitative technique.
