Abstract
By using the FIFE and TIPMEX-86 experiment data, the results of surface forcing on the atmospheric radiative flux divergence profiles and the bulk atmospheric cooling (heating) rates (both longwave and shortwave) are presented. Analyses indicate that surface properties takes a great role on the radiative flux divergence within boundary layer atmospheres, especially over the Tibetan plateau.
