ADVANCE IN STUDIES OF CRITICAL LAYERS OF WAVES IN SHEAR FLOW

The critical layers of waves in parallel shear flow are generally classified into three kinds:viscosity critical layer,nonlinear critical layer,and non-steadu crotocal layer.The theories on the three kinds of critical layers and their recent developments are reviewed in detail in this paper.
