EOF ANALYSIS OF AIR-SEA HEAT EXCHANGES IN MIDDLE LATITUDES OVER THE NORTH PACIFIC

An empirical orthogonal function analysis is performea on 30-year monthly means of latent, sensible heat fluxes and back radiation is middle latitudes over the North Pacific,The results show that the first three eigeavectyrs of them are three similar patterns and their corresponding time coefficient series have almost the same variation tendencies.
