A MULTIGRID METHOD FOR QAUST GEOSTROPHIC BAROTROPIC MODEL AND CONTRAST

A geometry multigrid method was intreduced to solve a numerical forecast model probelm and the result was comparied with those of SOR and ADI.Numerical experiments demonstrated that MG method is obriously superior to the others.
