SOME GROSS ERRORS AND BIASES IN CHINA’S HISTORICAL RADIOSONDE DATA

By employing comprehensive hydrostatic quality control technique, this paper firstly analyzed gross errors and biases in China's historical radiosonde data sets. The significant inhomogeneities related to inst rument change during 1960's were also evaluated. Moreover, the temperature and humidity biases at the vertical pressure levels in therecent period were discussed.
