RESEARCH ON AIR-SEA HEAT EXCHANGE DURING THE EL NIO EVENT OF 1986-1987 IN WESTERN TROPICAL PACIFIC OCEAN AND THE SOUTH CHINA SEA

Based on data collected during the TOGA cruises No.1-5 and 8,and scientistresearch of the south China Sea,analysis is made on the air-sea heatexchange over the Tropical Western Pacific.The results show that the heatex change was very strong before the occurrence on the El Niño event of 1986-1987.During the El Niño event of 1986-1987,the heatex change was weak.
