  • The Variational Simultaneous Physical Retrieval Model has been developed upon the Improved Simultaneous Physical Retrieval Model (ISPRM).In the light of the functional analysis theory.the VSPRM2.which is derived from the radiative transfer equation.is more general than the ISPRM.The expression of VSPRMI.the low class of VSPRM2.is identical with the ISPRM.VSPRM has advanced and broadened the function of ISPRM.This paper has analyzed the function of VSPRM2.pointed out the potentiality of synergy retrieval of this model.Also.it has dealt with the problem of parameterization of water vapor's kernel functions and retrieval of water vapor remote sensing.
