Abstract: The wasting heat of rainwater is considered, we have obtained following formula for estimating the diurnal evaporation. E=ΔRn+0.5Ea(1+Id/190)/Δ0.5(1+Id/190) where Id is the daily rainfall(mm).The calculations show that this formula is more accurate than the Penmens formula when the rain fall is heavy.
