Apparently vertical climatic zone on northern slope of Changbaishan, in the order from the lower position to the upper, may be divided into the climatic zone of mountainous mixed forest of needle-leaved and broad leaved; The climatic zone of mountainous needle-leaved forest; the climatic zone of Alpine bush-wood and the climatic zone of Alpine desert.
