THE CONSTANT ENERGY TUBES OF A LANDING TYPHOON

  • 摘要: 对产生“75.8”特大暴雨的登陆台风作了等熵面气流分析,发现存在一个铅直贯通整个对流层的等能管。这种连通等能管具有单叶双曲面性质,它在各种形成大暴雨的天气系统中都能出现,起着类似热带积雨云热塔的作用。这个问题在大气环流的能量铅直输送和能量转换中有重大意义,值得进一步研究。
    Abstract: In this paper, based on isentropic relative-flow analysis, it is found that there are constant energy tubes in typhoon. These constant energy tubes appear also in the severe rainstorms produced by. other synoptic systems, such as the vortices in South-western China and warm shear line. It is pointed out that these constant energy tubes play important role in the summer energy balance of the atmospheric general circulation.
