Abstract: In this paper the circulation situation and the abnormal climate in China from 1986 to 1989 have been analysed. In this four years, drought prevalled in most region of the country.But regional torrential rains frequently occured. The main precipitation belt located in central China in the summer. The temperature was higher than normal in most places and warm winters continuously occured from 1986 to 1989.And the causes leading to the abnormal climate are analysed and discussed.
