奇异值分解方法在季降水预测中的应用

THE APPLICATION OF SINGULAR VALUE DECOMPOSITION ANALYSIS IN THE PREDICTION OF SEASONAL RAINFALL

  • 摘要: 用奇异值分解方法对冬季北太平洋海表温度与广东省4-6月降水量之间的关系进行了计算,得出奇异向量分布型。对前6对奇异向量进行了分析,并用历史资料进行了反查检验,用1994年和1995年的海温型进行了广东的降水趋势预测。

     

    Abstract: Rainy season in South China has two periods,Apr to Jun and Jul to Sep.Especially, floods of ten occured in the former rainy season,it caused heavy economic losses in locality.Therefore,it's very important to predictrainfall of former rainy season more accurately.It's well know that the abnormal change of SST can cause abnormality of the atmospheric circulations,and influence precipitation distribution. In this paper,the method of singular value decomposition analysis is used to decompose monthly mean SST field of North Pacific in winter and rainfall field of Guangdong province during the next Apr to Jun.We obtained six space distribution patterns of SST with its close related rainfall field.Therefore by using of SST distribution in winter we can estimate precipitation tendency of next Apr to Jun in Guangdong.
