Abstract:
On the basis of scattering resulted from that incident waves with linear polarization in different orientations polarize small rotating spheroid raindrops, an energy flow density function of scattering and a scat tering cross section for a group of precipitation particles with arotating axis in various states are derived, and obtain some curved lines in which the scattering cross section varies with the changing of the phase of precipitation particles and the length of incident waves, which can be used for the calculation of remote sensing reversion.
