Abstract:
The leaf stomatal movement, a physiological process, occurs within leaves but its influence on fluxes CO2, water vapor, and sensible heat extends to canopy, regional, and global scales. The theoretical and laboratory studies document that the interaction between leaf photosynthesis and stomatal conductance is obvious, thus stomatal conductance is an important factor influencing on crop photosynthetic rate and crop net primary product, in special in the condition of crop water deficit. In the paper, based on the remote sensing information from NOAA-AVHRR and meteorological data, stomatal conductance distribution of winter wheat in typical area of North China plain have been studied. The stomatal conductance diagram in different development period has been presented. The developed stomatal conductance methods have been used to study crop and field moisture and estimate the winter wheat yield in typical research area of North China Plain. This will help us much better estimate NPP model influenced by water deficit and drought in the near further.
