A SIMPLIFIED GRAPHICAL METHOD FOR NUMERICAL PREDICTION WITH A TWO-PARAMETER MODEL OF THE ATMOSPHERE

  • 摘要: 在本文中作者给出了用图解计算500毫巴24小时形势预告图的方法和实际操作步骤。应用这个方法作者计算了三张500毫巴预告图,结果和实况还大致相似。

     

    Abstract: Using a 2-parameter model a graphical method for predicting the height of 600 mb surface is given arid practical operational. procedure is deseribed. This method is much in accord with that given by Fjφrtoft for barotropic model.For a case of intense development of cold wave we have computed three 600 mb prognostic charts for 24 hours interval It is found that the locations arid intensities of the systems computed by this method are in reasonable agreement with the observed ones.
