Abstract: In this work we have discussed the fundamental equations of eight radiation charts.The interrelations of transmission function with pressure and temperature were discussed.We not only investigated the problems of heat radiation which are affected by carbon dioxide and water vapour in spectral overlapping region, but also analysed the errors of carbon dioxide radiation of some charts.Finally, the comparison of various radiation charts for atmospheric emissivity has been made. According to this study, it is possible to find out the reason for the differences in the calculation results with these charts and to estimate,to a certain extent,the advantages and drawbacks of these charts.
