A FOUR-LEVEL BAROCLINIC MODEL FOR THE STEADY PERTURBATIONS IN THE WESTERIES

  • 摘要: 应用四层模式,讨论了西风带的常定扰动。结果表明,冬季波数1-2的地形常定扰动可以影响到平流层,而夏季的影响很小。

     

    Abstract: The steady perturbations in the westeries are analysed by means of a four-levels barodinic model. It is shown that the intensity of the steady perturbations with wave number 1-2 caused by topography increases upward in the stratasphere during winter, and decreases upward in summer.
