一个修正的σ坐标初始方程斜压模式的分裂显式积分

A SPLIT EXPLICIT INTEGRATION OF PRIMITIVE EQUATION MODEL IN MODIFIED COORDINATE

  • 摘要: 为了节省计算时间,本文对一个修正的σ坐标初始方程斜压模式作了分裂显式积分的研究.把大气运动分为平流过程和适应过程.在时间积分上对平流过程采用欧拉后差,对适应过程采用向前—向后差分格式,得到积分15天的稳定结果.计算时间比显式节省了60%左右,而预报效果相似.

     

    Abstract: A split explicit integration of 5-level primitive equation model in modified σ-coordinate is investigated. The governing equations are divided into two process: advection and adjustment process. The former equations are written in the form as(12)-(14), and the latter in the form as(7)-(11). The Euler-Backward Scheme is used in the advection process, and the Forward-Backward scheme is used in the ad justment process.The above scheme has been successfully integrated up to 15 days for an example, and the computation time is only 40% of that of the explicit scheme.
