Abstract:
This paper described a microcomputerised data management system of agro-meteorology. It's named SAMR. The system contains nine files created by disk. The data files are obtained by observations by the meteorological station of Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences since Jun. 1st. 1958. The date consist of 20 items per day. The files which totally cover 1.3 million bytes are restored in the hard disk of microcomputer. A user can search data quickly and conveniently with multi-keys. The program of the system is written by BASIC language. The management system is unique in that it is both easy to use and retrieve rapidly with the functions of statistical calculations and Chinese character printout. Recently the system is applied to the research on the prediction of the yield, period of the growing of crops, and the plant disease.
