小旋转椭球粒子群的微波衰减特性

CHARACTERISTICS OF MICROWAVE ATTENUATION FOR GROUPS OF SMALL SPHEROID PARTICLES

  • 摘要: 从计算任意形状粒子的衰减截面普遍公式出发,推导出了小旋转椭球粒子群旋转轴处于不同状态时的衰减截面函数表达式,并计算分析各种状态下衰减截面随降水粒子相态、形状和入射波波长的变化特征,所得结果可用于降水微波遥感。

     

    Abstract: From a universal formula for calculating the attenuation cross section of particles in arbitrary shapes, exact expressions for calcualting the at tenuation cross section of poly-disperse, small spheroids, whose rotary axes are in specific status, have been derived. Attenuation crosssections of both liquid and ice particles in different shapes at different wavelengths in microwave band have been computed and analyzed. The results are infor-mative to microwave remote sensing of precipitation.
